PURPOSE:To enable combined screening in a short time, by performing a combined computation by a signal from an address counter and a combination pattern signal of a combination pattern generator corresponding thereto. CONSTITUTION:A target weight value is set 8 to put an object to be weighed into weighing hoppers 11-1n and weighed value signals G1-Gn are stored 41-4n into a weight value memory circuit 4 while being inputted into count selectors 7a-7c. When an address counter 5 outputs an address value in binary sequential ly from 1 and combination pattern generators 6a-6c output N bits of combina tion pattern signals corresponding to the address value to the respective selectors 7a-7c. Then, weight values of the elements 41-4n corresponding to bit equiva lent to 1 of the pattern signal are selectively passed to arithmetic units 9a-9c. When the counter 5 ends counting to an address 2<n>/3, a general arithmetic unit 10 compares three kinds of combination weight stored respectively into arithmetic devices 9a-9c and outputs a combination pattern the closest to the target weight 8 to open or close a corresponding hopper to perform a gather ing in package.
