PURPOSE:To prevent the adsorption of an medium and a head floating surface by providing of least one groove minute in depth in the lengthwise direction of a surface opposite to the medium of a slider. CONSTITUTION:One slider groove 2 minute in depth is provided in the central lengthwise direction of the slide floating surface 1 and the contacting part of the slider floating surface 1 and the medium is made two surfaces per one slider surface. At this time, the slider floating surface is flat in the lengthwise direction. Therefore, by the slider groove 2, the contacting area is remarkably reduced than a former type. Thus the adsorption of the medium and the head floating surface 1 can be prevented.
