PURPOSE:To form images which are excellent in image quality, by continuously carrying a photosensitive member to the receiving port of a cassette through press rollers after it is discharged from the discharging port of a container and performing heat treatment on a transfer member after the photosensitive member is put on the transfer member and pressure-development is carried out by means of the pressing rollers. CONSTITUTION:An unexposed photosensitive member discharged from a cassette 001 is exposed to the image of an original on an original platen 500 moving rightward at the same speed as that of the photosensitive member 010 on an exposure table 130 constituting an exposure means. A transfer member 701 is carried from a transfer member cassette 702 which is the container of transfer members by means of a pickup roller 650 is accordance with the position of the exposed latent image and the content of micro-capsules which are broken in corresponding to the latent image of the photosensitive member 010 is transferred to the transfer member 701 while the members 701 and 010 are subjected to pressure-development by means of a pressure-developing mechanism 300. Then the transfer member 701 is sent to a heat-treatment means 400, where the development reaction is accelerated by heating, by means of a feeding roller 640. Therefore, a completed image, whose surface shows a glossy appearance, is formed.
