PURPOSE:To enhance the yield of products, reduce the cost of installations and contrive improvement in production efficiency by melting synthetic resin powder material through application of ultrasonic wave thereto and carrying out a molding process thereon. CONSTITUTION:Powdery synthetic resin material in the state of a single material or a mixture is filled in a cylindrical container 1 and the material M is subjected to application of ultrasonic wave vibration through a press die 2 and/or a base die 4 while being pressurized by those dies placed on both sides of a container 1 to be fused and molded. Owing to such processes, synthetic resin material in high degree of polymerization can be used so that the creep- resisting property of a gasket can be enhanced and its mechanical property and accuracy of dimension can be also improved. In addition, manufacturing installation itself is in a small dimension with a low cost and excellent thermal efficiency, resulting in high production efficiency. |
