PURPOSE:To easily perform maintenance work even in a narrow space, by turning a scanner supporting bracket, and releasing the contact with pressure of a plotter side. CONSTITUTION:When the jamming of an original is generated, or the cleaning of an original reading part is performed, by releasing the lock of a roller supporting bracket 103 and turning the upper part of a front cover 5 to a front side, a glass plane 101c can be separated from a platen roller 104. Thereby, a jammed original can be removed, and the cleaning of the glass plane 101c and the roller 104 can be performed. Thus, since all of the ordinary required maintenance work can be performed from the front side of the device, it is possible to easily perform the maintenance work of a facsimile equipment even in the narrow space such as the inside of an automobile.
