The device can be used for installations which orientate with compressed air the filaments extruded from an extrusion die arrangement, and in which the formed fabric is laid down on a perforated transport belt. According to the invention, jet screens 5 are arranged at an angle 5@ </= ss </= 15@ to the vertical. They have openings with a diameter 1 mm </= d </= 3 mm, the horizontal spacing of which is 1.5 d </= a </= 3 d and the vertical spacing of which is 2 d </= b </= 6 d. Blowing heads 2 are angled from the vertical towards the jet screens by 15@ </= lambda </= 25@. By means of angled blowing heads/jet screens and the perforation of the jet screens, pulsating individual air flows are created at the openings, which bring about the filament spreading which is necessary for a uniform laying down of the filament bonded fabric. The formation of the individual air flows is further favoured by arched sections 9. Outgoing-air shields 10 also bring about, by air accumulation, an additional spreading. <IMAGE>
