PURPOSE:To decrease the power consumption and also to improve the security by displaying intermittently the card identification data and at the same time displaying the transaction histories on the condition that the correct identification numbers are inputted. CONSTITUTION:When the power is supplied to an IC chip 20 from a solar battery 14, a CPU 21 reads the card identification data out of an EEPROM 25 and displays intermittently this data at a display part 13. While the CPU 21 compares the identification number inputted from a key input part 12 with the identification number stored in the EEPROM 25. When the coincidence is obtained between both numbers, the balance of transaction is displayed at the part 13. Thus the power consumption can be decreased since the card identification data is intermittently displayed. In addition, the security of an IC card is also improved since the transaction history is displayed by the input of a correct identification number. |
