Bicyclic sulfonamide derivatives represented by the formula: <CHEM> (wherein R1 is hydrogen or lower alkyl; R2 is lower alkyl, aralkyl, or aryl which may be substituted by lower alkyl, alkoxy, acetoxy, hydroxy, halogen, nitro or phenyl; and the wavy line indicates the R or S configuration or their mixture), or their salts, are new compounds useful as antithrombotic, antivasoconstricting, and antibronchoconstricting drugs.
