PURPOSE:To prevent the flame rod from being sooted due to incomplete combustion by disposing a guide plate near the flame rod mounting location. CONSTITUTION:The flame rod 12 is disposed to oppose orifices 3 for supplying secondary air in the inner cylinder 2, and a guide plate 14 for guiding the secondary air is disposed near the mounting location of the flame rod 12. The gasified fuel is mixed with the secondary air supplied through the orifices 3, 4 and a gap 13, and forms the flame. The combustion takes place when the fuel injected from a fuel injection nozzle 10 is ignited by an ignition terminal 11, and the combustion is continued by detecting the flame by means of the flame rod 12. By disposing the guide plate 14, the secondary air supplied through the gap 13 is turned toward the upstream side, which causes disturbances in the flow to enhance the combustion, preventing the soot from being produced. |
