PURPOSE:To effectively exclude a mischievous telephone call or a telephone call for advertisement by evaluating whether or not a caller is properly qualitified based on a sent pass word or the content of reply to a questionnaire or a voiceprint of the caller and connecting the line only to a qualified person. CONSTITUTION:When a call comes from a caller, a control section 3 commands the start of guidance to a guidance control section 5. The guidance control section 5 reads a guidance from a voice storage section 6 and sends it to a transmission section 4. When the caller sends its own number according to the guidance, a evaluation section 2 evaluates whether or not the number is equal to the number stored in the telephone number. The control section 3, if correct, uses an output section 7 to ring a bell thereby informing the called party as to the presence of a telephone call from a qualified person. Thus, the exclusion of a mischievous phone call or a telephone call for the purpose of advertisement is simplified.
