<p>PURPOSE:To compensate for a control lag caused by the inertia of a reel and to obtain a high response of a tension control by obtaining a plate thickness correction signal from a plate thickness deflection signal, expressing this signal in terms of acceleration and deceleration electric currents of the reel and adding it to a current reference for controlling a reel tension. CONSTITUTION:As for the plate thickness control of the rolling mill controlling the plate thickness through the tension between the rolling rolls, the rewinding reel and winding reel, a plate thickness correcting signal is differentiated by differentiators 9 and 7, and added on the current reference or a reel motor control to perform the plate thickness control. In this way, the control lag caused by the inertia of the reel is compensated and the effectiveness of the tension plate thickness control is improved.</p> |
