PURPOSE:To improve the mechanical strength and bending performance of a positive electrode by burying a core material on one face of the positive electrode terminal side of a positive electrode active material and generating a burr in the direction of the positive electrode terminal side when punching the positive electrode. CONSTITUTION:A conductive material made of manganese dioxide and acetylene black and a binder such as the fluororesin dispersion are mixed and formed into a sheet together with a core material made of a stainless steel net. The sheet is punched to form a positive electrode 5 so that this core material and a burr are aligned in the direction of a positive electrode terminal plate 1. Next, the metal lithium 3 which is a negative electrode active material is pressed to a negative electrode terminal plate 2 to face the positive electrode 5 via a separator 6 holding an electrolyte, and the peripheral sections of an insulating seal material 4 and the terminal plates 1, 2 are heat-welded. Cracks, chips, etc., of the positive electrode are prevented from being generated when a cell is bent accordingly, and the internal resistance is stabilized even in the high-temperature storage. |
