PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of a recording medium by positioning a stabilizing member by moving it to working position by the rotation of its supporting member and supporting it by a supporting member at the angle so as to be in parallel to the medium as approaching to the medium at this moving time. CONSTITUTION:A stabilizing member 6 is supported by inclining it to a supporting member 5 by the angle offsetting the inclination of the supporting member 5 to the recording medium 13 immediately before the member 6 is located nearest to the recording medium 13. Such inclined support is made by varying the length of supporting shafts 8, 9 or forming the flanges 8a, 9a of supporting shafts 8, 9 by inclining said angle. The stabilizing member 6 becomes parallel to the recording medium 13 as approaching to the recording medium 13 according to the rotation in a clockwise direction of the supporting member 5 by supporting the stabilizing member 6 like this. The deformation of the recording medium 13 by pressing can thus be surely avoided.
