PURPOSE:To attain the operation in matching with the user and the common use of a receiver by separating the receiver and a call code storage section and forming them freely removably. CONSTITUTION:An insertion port 3 to load a magnetic or IC card 2 is provided to an upper part of side face of a selective call receiver 1. A call code is written in the magnetic or IC card in place of a conventional ROM IC and in case of utilizing the selective call receiver, the card is inserted to the main body from the insertion port 3. The main body reads a call code from the card and only when the code coincident therewith is received, an alarm is raised. Thus, plural magnetic or IC cards 2 are prepared and any one of them is loaded to the main body as required, then one set of selective call receiver is used for plural call codes. |
