<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a hot water amount detector for a hot water storage tank which makes an accurate response by fitting a chip-shaped thermistor on the top surface of a metallic laminate substrate which has good heat conductivity and fitting the hot water storage tank on its reverse surface. CONSTITUTION:The copper-plated aluminum laminate substrate 16 is constituted by laminating an insulating film 18 on the surface of a metallic base 17 of Al and laminating a coated copper foil 19 thereupon, and this substrate is fitted to the hot water storage tank with a both-side adhesive tape 20 stuck on its reverse surface. Then the copper foil 19 is worked in a pattern shown in a figure, thin plate type chip-shaped thermistors 21 are adhered on the insulating layer 18, connected to the copper foil 19 by lead-out wires 22, and connection parts of signal lines 23 are insulated 24 and 25. Therefore, the thermistors 21 are adhered to the surface of the hot water tank through the substrate 16, and consequently those are united thermally and completely to reduce the detection error from the actual amount of hot water.</p> |
