PURPOSE:To change the number of revolutions of an age-of-the moon wheel so that the designs of an age-of-the moon display can be changed in many ways by changing the number of the intermeshing teeth of the age-of-the moon pinion provided to an age-of-the moon wheel and the age-of-the moon wheel. CONSTITUTION:A pawl part 3a of an hour wheel 3 decelerates the age-of-the moon wheel 2a having 59 teeth by intermittent transmission. Since the hour wheel 3 makes two turns in a day, the wheel 2a having the 59 teeth makes one turn in 29.5 days. The wheels 2a is braked by an age-of-the moon jumper 4 so that the wheel does not rotate except when the wheel is moved by the pawl part 3a. The wheel 2a has the age-of-the moon pinion 2b and the pinion 2b is engaged with the age-of-the moon wheel 1b. The design of the age-of-the moon display to be drawn on an age-of-the moon dial 1a is, therefore, easily changed in many ways by changing the tooth ratio of the pinion 2b of the wheel 2a and the wheel 1b. |
