PURPOSE:To easily identify a channel number being received by adding identification bit for every information channel, converting a signal so as to feed an information bit successively to the identification bit in the information channel in which speech information is present and counting the identification bits in a receiving side. CONSTITUTION:A control memory M is provided and a value indicating an information channel width is stored in an address corresponding to the channel numbers of the respective information. A changed channel width is stored in a memory position corresponding to the channel number in which the change of a speech state is generated according to the change signal channel of an input time division signal. In a processor, only the identification bits P1-Pn are transmitted to the channel to which the information is not transmitted based on the contents of the memory M and the information is transmitted successively to the channel identification bit to the information transmitting channel. In such a way, the converted time division signal is received, the number of the identification bits is counted with reference to a frame synchronizing signal, thereby, the number of the receiving information channel is easily understood to simplify the constitution of a receiver.
