<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required from power-on to an image formation possible state by reducing the influence of starting time in a system control part in an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In a copying machine 100 as the image forming apparatus, starting is completed for a sub CPU32, with a shorter starting time than an engine CPU31, after the power source-on switch 11 is turned on and before completion of start of a system CPU21 and the engine CPU31 and the specified fixing control is carried out for a fixing device 54 by the sub CPU 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
