PURPOSE:To sufficiently obtain the filter effect of the titled material with such the additional amount that the transfer hindrance of a color matter does not occur by inserting the layer contg. a specified blue photoabsorbing dye between a blue sensitive layer and a green sensitive layer or between the blue sensitive layer and a red sensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:The layer contg. the blue photoabsorbing dye shown by formula (1) or (2) is inserted between the blue sensitive layer and the green sensitive layer or between the blue sensitive layer and the red sensitive layer. In the formula, A1 is an atom group necessary for forming a benzene or a naphthalene ring which may be substd., A2 is an atom group necessary for forming a five or a six members ring which may be substd., R1 and R2 are each an electron attractive group. The compd. shown by formula (1) or (2), is preferably a ballast group capable of making said compd. to passive in the layer by at least one of substituents. Thus, the sufficient filter effect is obtd. by incorporating a small amount of the image forming color matter in the titled material, and the fogging, the stain and the unevenness of density of yellow color are improved. |
