The present invention relates to a locking device provided with means for adjusting a catch 6 in the vertical and horizontal planes. The said means comprise, for example, an oblong hole or slot 13 in which the pivoting pin of the catch 6 slides, which pin interacts with locking means such as a nut in order to adjust the catch 6 in the vertical plane. Adjustment in the horizontal plane is obtained by virtue of means for adjusting the angular position of the catch 6 such as, for example, two opposing toothings 16 and means for locking the said toothings such as a bolt making it possible, after tightening, to maintain the angular position set by the user. <IMAGE>
