PURPOSE:To facilitate the inspection of a finished assembly by providing a judging means which compares the measured value of a weight measuring means for the weight of the finished assembly to be inspected with a preset reference value and judges whether the assembly is normal or defective according to whether or not the measured weight is within a permissible range. CONSTITUTION:When the weight of the finished assembly 1 to be inspected is measured, reference value data is inputted to a judging circuit 4 from a memory 5. The judging circuit 4 compares the measured value of a weight measuring instrument 2 with the reference value to judge that the finished assembly 1 to be inspected is normal when the measured weight is within the permissible range or defective when not. For example, the measured value is lower than the permissible value unless an auxiliary component is incorporated, so an assembly where no auxiliary component is incorporated is prevented from being shipped.
