PURPOSE:To suppress formation of isomaltose and efficiently obtain glucose, by passing a liquefied starch solution through a reactor having a special immobilized enzyme layer, saccharifying the solution, passing the saccharified solution through a reactor having a membrane of immobilized enzymes, etc. CONSTITUTION:A liquefied starch solution is passed through a reactor having an immobilized enzyme layer prepared by immobilizing glucoamylase in a porous adsorbent at 3-6hr<-1> superficial velocity and saccharified so that the glucose content may be 65-85% with <=1% isomaltose content. The resultant saccharified solution is then passed through a reactor having a membrane of adsorbed and immobilized enzymes to take out the formed glucose to the outside of the reaction system. Bone black, chitin or porous chitin obtained by deacetylating natural high polymer chitin is preferred as the porous adsorbent in the reactor having the immobilized layer. The membrane of the reactor having the membrane of an immobilized enzymes is preferably a membrane containing a skin layer having molecular fractionating property integral with a porous sponge layer.
