PURPOSE:To prevent a latent image formed on a photoreceptor from being under evil influence of stray light, by intercepting an exposure optical path through a shutter member until an exposure optical system after exposure returns to an initial position. CONSTITUTION:A lens 1 moves to form a scanning optical image of an original O at a fixed position through a slit plate 6 and consequently a latent image is formed on the photoreceptor 2 which moves in the same direction with the lens 1. After a scan on this original O, the shutter member SP is interposed and until the lens 1 returns to the initial position, the exposure optical path is intercepted. Therefore, stray light in the attenuation period of a lamp light source which is turned off is intercepted completely to prevent the latent image formed on the photoreceptor from being under evil influence of the stray light. |
