PURPOSE:To contrive higher feedability for printing under low humidity, by providing a thermal color forming layer on one side of a paper base, and providing on the other side an antistatic layer comprising a specified homopolymer or copolymer of a vinyl compound having a sulfonate group and a surfactant consisting of a salt of a specified acid. CONSTITUTION:A homopolymer or copolymer of a vinyl compound having a sulfonate group, with an average molecular weight of at least 5000 may be a sodium salt, potassium salt, lithium salt or the like of polyvinylsulfonic acid, polyvinyl butyral sulfonic acid or the like. The polymer is combined with at least one surface active agent selected from a sulfosuccinic acid ester, an alkylbenzenesulfonate and a naphthalenesulfonate, whereby a favorable anstistatic effect can be obtained. The polymer and the surface active agent are preferably mixed in a weight ratio of 100:0.5-20, and the coating weight in terms of the amount of the polymer is 0.02-1 g/m<2>. Thereby, it is possible to enhance whiteness degree, slipping property or the like by adding an organic pigment, a metallic soap, a wax or the like. |
