PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a plastic film, on which a thin-walled part is formed, and to very easily tear off an excess plastic film, which is formed in the outward periphery of the thin-walled part, at the thin-walled party by a method wherein molding is done under the state that a projecting strip is provided along the periphery of the product form part of the molding surface of a molding tool. CONSTITUTION:Thermoplastic powder adhered to a mold surface is melted by the heat transmitted from the mold surface so as to form a molten plastic film 15 on the mold surface. At that time, since the thermoplastic power converts a projecting strip 13 so as to adhere to the projecting strip 13 part of the mold surface in the form of a layer in order to form the flat surface of the layer, the power layer 15a at the tip of the projecting strip is thin, accordingly, the molten plastic film is thin at the projecting strip part 13 in the periphery of a product form part A. The removal of an excess part 15b is done by tearing off the excess part 13b at the thin-walled part 15a in the periphery of the product form part A or by cutting off along the thin-walled part 15a with scissors or the like. Since said tearing-off or cutting-off is done at the thin-walled part 15a, the tearing or cutting can be done easily with small force.
