PURPOSE:To separate air bubbles from a vaporization surface favorably and quickly to thereby improve the heat absorbing efficiency by a method wherein the internal structure of the heat pipe at the bottom end of the container is improved. CONSTITUTION:The internal structure of the bottom end of the container includes a partition wall of the bottom end surface 2 of the container, an operating liquid introducing and storage section formed by the partition wall 1 of the container, an operating liquid vaporization section having a vaporization surface area enlarging structure formed integral with the inner wall of a part of the bottom end enclosed by the partition wall 11 and an operating liquid communicating passage 15 provided at a part near the inner wall 11 so as to make the abovementioned sections communicate with one another. The operating liquid in the vaporization section boils and vaporize to become a vapor stream 6 as it absorbs heat energy as the latent heat of vaporization at the vaporization surface and moves toward a condensing section at a high speed but in this case, bubbles 16 generating in large quantities due to the presence of the partition wall 11 do not interfere with the operating liquid stream returning to the vaporization section along the inner wall of the container 1. |
