PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS HAVING CALCIUM BLOCKING ACTIVITY

Pharmaceutical compositions containing as active ingredient a compound of general formula I (I) and its addition salts with a pharmaceutically acceptable acid is described. The compound is prepared by reacting bis-(2-(3,4-dimethoxy-phenyl)ethyl)amine with formaldehyde in a reducing medium. The composition is effective in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases and disturbances in cerebral circulation.
