PURPOSE:To enhance spectrum measuring accuracy, by calculating the half value width, the peak position and the peak height of energy spectrum data while subtracting a reference spectrum having the same values as the half value width and the peak height thereof at the peak position. CONSTITUTION:The energy spectrum data measured by a spectrometer 2 is stored in a measured data memory circuit 3 while the data in a predetermined section is applied to a peak characteristic discriminating circuit 7 to calculate the max. peak position, the peak height and the half value width in the data. The data of a reference spectrum from a reference spectrum memory circuit 4 is applied to a pattern adjusting circuit 8 where magnification and reduction calculations are performed on the basis of the max. peak height and the half value width calculated in the peak characteristic discriminating circuit 7 and the measured data are applied to a subtraction circuit 9 while the data of the reference spectrum is subtracted from the measured value. The output of the subtraction circuit 9 is supplied to a display apparatus 15 through a temporary memory circuit 10. |
