发明名称 WORK GRIPPING DEVICE FOR BORING MACHINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate the misalignment of a workpiece with the original position when the workpiece located on the reference surface of a fixed vice is gripped and the incapability of gripping the workpiece by moving a grip body in the direction of transferring the workpiece and the direction orthogonal thereto. CONSTITUTION:The clamp surface 9a of a fixed clamp 6b projecting from the upper portion of a grip body 6 is located behind the reference surface of a fixed vice of a boring machine. Under such a condition a workpiece 2 is located to bear against the reference surface. Also, when the workpiece 2 is gripped to be moved toward a ball screw shaft 4, air pressure is supplied to a clamp cylinder 13 to move a connecting plate 12 to the position shown by the phantom line. Thus, the workpiece 2 can be clamped between the clamp 6b and a movable clamp 10a. Since the grip body 6 can be thus moved toward the clamp, the workpiece can be gripped to ensure the feed accuracy of workpiece 2 without any misalignment of workpiece 2 set to the reference surface with the original position.
