PURPOSE:To obtain specimen gas stably measurable for a long period of time, by combining purifying units each consisting of a probe for taking out specimen gas, a gas scrubber, a mist separator and a mist collector in a multistage fashion. CONSTITUTION:The specimen gas sucked by a sampling pump is injected from the spray nozzle 2 mounted to a rising pipe vent 1 and drawn in the probe 4 arranged in an ammonical liquor spray 2 from the opening part 5 thereof and contacted with the ammonical spray injected from a spray pipe 6 to be introduced into a gas scrubber 8 through a specimen gas introducing pipe 7. Herein, tar in the specimen gas is dissolved in a solvent 11 to be removed. The specimen gas introduced into the second mist collector 14 passes through a packing material 16 to adsorb and remove the mist contained in the specimen gas by the packing material 16 and passes through a specimen gas lead-out pipe 17 to be guided to a mist separator 19. The specimen gas passing through the separator 19 enters the first mist collector 23 to remove a very small amount of mist by a filter material 24 and is guided to an analyzer as purified gas from a specimen gas lead-out pipe 26.
