PURPOSE:To correct a variance between respective devices and to reproduce a high picture quality image by storing plural pieces of correcting information and correcting the digital multi-value data inputted from an input means in accordance with the correcting information. CONSTITUTION:The correcting information correcting to the changing-over of a mode is read from a ROM 29. Selectors 25 and 27 are changed over to a (b) side and the correcting information read from the ROM 29 is written to respective addresses of a RAM 26. Next, the selectors 25 and 27 are both changed over to an (a) side, and thereafter, a digital image signal 38 (concentration data) from a reading part 1 is inputted as the address of the RAM 26. The image data after correction read from the RAM 26 are outputted through an interface part 39 to a printer part and the corrected image output is obtained.
