PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition for bonding an artificial nail with a cyanoacrylate adhesive, etc., and achieving strong adhesivity as well as good releasability, by dispersing or dissolving a specific polymeric substance in a solvent such as a lower alcohol. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be produced by dispersing or dissolving (A) 3-70wt% polymeric substance (based on the whole composition) selected from rosin, copal, dammar gum, shellac and the copolymer of formula I or II (R<1>, R<2> and R<6> are 1-10C alkyl; R<3>-R<5> and R<8>-R<12> are H or methyl; T-Z are 0 or integer; 10<=T+U+V<=5,000; 10<=W+X+Y+Z<=5,000) in (B) a solvent selected from a lower alcohol, a hydrated lower alcohol containing 80vol% lower alcohol and a lower alkyl ester of acetic acid.
