<p>A testing device for electric printed circuit boards has an intermediate adapter arranged between the printed circuit board and the main adapter. To compensate for a mismatch or for the smaller pitch of the matching pattern of the contact surface of the main adapter, converters (11) carry on their upper side arrangements of contact needles (31) specific to the test piece, such as SMD components. The converters (11) have on their lower side a pattern of contact pins (36) that matches the contact surface area of the main adapter. The pattern formed by the contact pins (36) is laterally or diagonally offset with respect to the side edges (44) of the converter (11), so that the contact pins (36) can be shifted in order to contact the contact surfaces of the main adapter by turning the converter (11) around its longitudinal axis.</p> |
