PURPOSE:To prevent the misconvergence due to a comatic aberration on a scanning screen formed with both outside electron beams and a central electron beam by dividing a final accelerating electrode of an electron gun into at least two parts and keeping a divided final accelerating electrode at the same electric potential. CONSTITUTION:A final accelerating electrode 20 has an intermediate aperture 23, is divided, has an aperture width of W, is electrically conductive, and has no electron lense effects by the aperture 23. An eddy current by a horizontal deflection magnetic field is parted by the aperture 23 and the regular horizontal deflection magnetic field passes the aperture 23. This enables the phase difference with the horizontal deflection magnetic field in the inside of a passing aperture of a central and both outside electron beam to be decreased. Therefore, the picture quality deterioration by a misconvergence can be eliminated even in the high density display with a high horizontal deflection frequency of a color CRT.
