PURPOSE:To permit hand-making of various kinds of original timepieces having pleasant fashionability by utilizing an unsatd. polyester resin to form a rubbed body of vegetable's live leaf, forming a through-hole part to the surface of the rubbed copy, coloring the same and inserting and fixing a driving body constituted integrally with a transparent frame to the hole part. CONSTITUTION:Backing paper stuck with a self-adhesive tape 9 is formed by blanking a cardboard 8 or the like and after the collected live leaf 10 is fixed to the backing paper, fat or oil clay is packed into the frame body of the same size as the size of the driving body 3 constituted integrally with the transparent frame and said frame is fixed onto the leave 10 surface. The soft putty-like unsatd. polyester resin mixed with a cold curing agent is poured over the entire surface on the leaf surface. The resin is tripped together with the leaf 10 from the backing paper when the curing of the resin progresses. The rubbed copy of the leave 10 is obtd. on the cured resin surface when the leaf 10 is stripped. The frame is then removed and the hole part 13 penetrating to the top and bottom is formed. After the resin is colored, the driving body part 3 is inserted and fixed into the through-hole from the rear side in such a manner that the digital display surface is positioned on the front of the rubbed copy.
