The invention relates to a pipe connection having a sealing ring which is supported, by means of a radially interior surface, on the pipe wall and, by means of a radially exterior surface and an end side directed towards the pipe end, in a housing, having an axially displaceable pressing ring which butts against that end side of the sealing ring directed away from the pipe end and which compresses said sealing ring, and having a sealing pressure-exerting part for effecting the axial displacement of the pressing ring. The novelty of the invention is that the pressing ring, in its end position, butts, on the end side, on a stop, which is directed away from the pipe end, of the housing and, on its opposite end side, exhibits an outer cone which tapers away from the pipe end and is acted upon directly by a first inner cone of the sealing pressure-exerting part, which can be displaced axially or radially with respect to the pipe via bracing means. |
