<p>PURPOSE:To suppress a false signal mixing into a luminance signal band to the extent that it can be disregarded by constituting a interpolator so that it has a transfer characteristic different from before, and suppressing a side band component adjacent to the primary and secondary carriers. CONSTITUTION:The operators 80R, 81R constituted of the D type FF are driven by the clock CKB of 4fsc (color subcarrier frequency), and delay of 1/4fsc is given. The outputs of operations 80R, 81R are provided to the adder 82R, and 3 sample outputs, namely the existing output, the output which has been delayed by 1/ 4fsc, and the output which has been delayed by 1/2fsc are added thereto. This added output is made to level down to 1/3 by the level shifting circuit 83R. As a result, new two samples are interpolated between two samples at the period of 1/4fsc, the processing rate is converted, and also the two samples are directly approximated.</p> |
