PURPOSE:To keep off any separation in ends of maximum width belt plies, by superposing a relaxation belt ply on a belt ply, and specifying a tilting direction of a cord reinforcing this relaxation belt ply to a tire equatorial sur face. CONSTITUTION:A tire 1 is provided with a carcass layer 2 and the belt layer 3 set up in the radial outside. And the belt layer 3 is formed by plural sheets of belt plies 4a-4c, and a tilting direction of each belt ply 4 to a tire equatorial surface 6 of each of reinforcing cords 5a-5c is designed to go in the reverse direction at adjacent layers themselves. In this structure, a relaxation belt ply 7 is superposed on the belt layer 3. And a modulus of the relaxation belt ply 7 is set to be lower than that of the belt ply 4, while a tilting direction of the reinforcing cord 8 to the tire equatorial surface 6 is set to the same as the tilting direction of the cord 5b of the second belt ply 4b or the maximum width. |
