PURPOSE:A release agent, useful for a synthetic resin, e.g. polyurethane and PC, and rubber, with a slight migration to a molded article, having improved retention of releasability, and comprising an acid salt of a phosphonic acid derivative of a perfluoroalkenyl aryl ether. CONSTITUTION:A hexafluoropropene oligomer (Rf) is reacted with an aromatic compound (Ar) having a hydroxyl group to give a perfluoroalkenyl aryl ether expressed by the formula (l is 1-3; n is preferably 1 or 2; M is Na, K, etc.). The alkyl group of the aryl ether is then halogenated and reacted with a trialkyl phosphite to afford a dialkyl phosphonate, which is hydrolyzed and if necessary semineutralized with an alkali in an amount of 0.7-1.0 equivalent to one mole the phosphonic acid to obtain a phosphonic acid salt. The slat is dissolved or dispersed in water or an organic solvent in a concentration of usually 0.5-20wt% and used as a release agent. |
