PURPOSE:To ensure decrease in unnecessary radiation of a magnetic field by generating a magnetic field which is opposite to the magnetic field leaking to the outside of a core, a part of the horizontal deflecting magnetic field generated by a horizontal deflecting coil. CONSTITUTION:Canceling coils 8 and 9 are formed in loops and their centers 8T and 9T are located on Y-axis of a deflecting yoke 7 outside a core 1 and prescirbed wiring is performed in the state where the canceling coils 8 and 9 are mounted on the main body 7 of the deflecting yoke. After that, each prescribed current is made to flow through horizontal deflecting coils 2 and 3, vertical deflecting coils 4 and 5 and the canceling coils 8 and 9. To the magnetic field which is leaked to the outside of the core 1 (or the body 7 of the deflection yoke), a part of the horizontal deflecting magnetic field HB generated by the horizontal deflecting coils 2 and 3 when they are energized, that, is, unnecessary magnetic radiation lHR, a canceling magnetic field HC generated by canceling coils 8 and 9 located outside the core 1 and formed in loops is opposite on both sides (8E, 8F, 9E and 9F) of the canceling coils 8 and 9. Thus, unnecessary matgnetic radiation HR is canceled and surely decreased by the canceling magnetic field HC. |
