Longitudinal anti-friction vee guide. The invention can be used in machine tools, robots, measuring machines and the like whose moving machine components require a high-precision straight-line guide mechanism. A vee guide section is arranged in a rectangular cross-section having a minimised surface area and edge lengths with a ratio of 2:1. The vee guide section consists of a pair of guide surfaces lying parallel to an outer edge and of a pair of guide surfaces lying at an angle of 60@ to the first pair of guide surfaces. Rollers are arranged between the pairs of guide surfaces. |
