A centrifugal (rotational) process is described for introduction of the filler, preferably metal in the liquid state, into the pores of a carrier body, for example of ceramic material. In addition, there is described the filling of evacuated pores on surfaces which are exposed to extremely high temperatures, by ceramic powder, alternatively also in a coherent layer, and also the application of a metal layer onto a cooled side of workpieces.
