The engine is mounted on a wing strut (10), at a preset spacing from the wing. A low-profile engine mount is attachable to the strut and engine to secure the two, whilst occupying a minium of the engine-wing spacing. The mount accommodates longitudinal growth of the engine due to thermal expansion, but is stiff enough to react against vertical, side and torque loads. The mounting comprises a yoke with two arms (56), mounted on the strut to permit pivoting. The arms are secured to an engine mounting ring (38) on the engine.
