发明名称 AUTOMATIC SELFDIAGNOSING SYSTEM FOR INFORMATION PROCESSOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To previously detect the troubles of an information processor by recognizing the reduction of a system load after measuring the working condition of a processor via an operating system OS and separating one of processors to diagnose the trouble of this processor. CONSTITUTION:The processors 1-1-1-4 send the signals showing the job execution modes to a working condition measuring circuit 5 and these signals are stored at every processor. An operating system OS recognizes the working condition of a selfdiagnosing system and selects one of those processors to finish quickly its job if the reduction of the system load is detected. Then the OS gives an instruction to a RAS processor 3 to separate said processor. A request is given to a service processor 4 to start a diagnosis program for the diagnosis of troubles of the separated processor. The processor 4 starts execution of a diagnosis program. If the executing result of the diagnosis program is normal, the instruction is given to the processor 3 to set again the relevant processor. While the repair is needed as long as said executing result is not normal.
