PURPOSE:To perform a display which is easily viewed by an interviewer and to smoothly transmit information by mixing and displaying an inverted character and an erected character and providing a display means having a display picture disposed in a plane shape and in an inclined shape by bending. CONSTITUTION:When an original text is inputted from an input part A, a translation part B performs a translation processing, thereafter, stores the original text and the translated text respectively in an original text memory E and a translated text memory F in a form of a character code. A display control part C converts the character code read from the memory E into the character font data of the original text in a character generator G, converts into the respective character codes read from the memory F into the character font data of the translated text, thereafter, performs the rotation processing of a character pattern and respectively stores in a picture memory J. Thereby, since the translated text read from the memory J is displayed on the picture 1 or 2 as the correctly erected character, the interviewer can easily obtain the information and the information can be smoothly transmitted.
