PURPOSE:To attain the damping of a body of rotation using a very small quantity of viscous material by packing the viscous material only between the inside of a cylinder of a case body and the outside of a cylinder of the body of rotation. CONSTITUTION:When a device is tilted, since a case 1 is rotated and a weight 8 is in the direction of gravity at all times according to its tilt angle, the case 1 and the weight 8 are made in a rotating operational state relatively. Moreover, at the time of rotating of the case 1, the damping of the body 6 of rotation is sufficiently obtained by viscous resistance of oil 9 packed in a clearance D and the body 6 of rotation never overruns. Then, a rotational disk 7 is rotated by rotation of an axis 5 of rotation in accordance with the rotation of the body 6 of rotation and the number of passes of the rotation of a slit formed to the rotational disc 7 is detected by a body 10 of photodetection and processed by a processing circuit provided to a circuit substrate 15 and the tilt angle is calculated. In this way, an effective damping effect can be obtained by a very small quantity of oil.
