PURPOSE:To surely prevent the reproduction of a signal of a channel whose reception is to be inhibited by applying judgement of reception inhibition based on an intermediate frequency or a local frequency. CONSTITUTION:A generating means 16 generating a channel set signal, a generating means 17 generating the 1st data representing the frequency relating to a channel selected based on a channel setting signal from the said generating means such as an intermediate frequency or a local frequency, a storage means 50 storing the 2nd data representing the frequency relating to the channel of reception inhibition, and a means 17 comparing the 1st and 2nd data so as to discriminate whether or not the frequency relating to the selected channel has a frequency difference within a prescribed range in relation to the frequency relating to the channel whose reception is to be inhibited, are provided. When the said frequency difference is within the prescribed range, the signal of the selected channel is not reproduced.
