PURPOSE:To prevent a watch from stopping right after the watch begins to be carried by providing plural charging voltage detecting circuits which detects terminal voltages of the 1st and the 2nd accumulators, a charging/discharging control circuit which is controlled with the output signals of the charging voltage detecting circuits, and a motor control circuit. CONSTITUTION:The output of an oscillation circuit 1 is frequency-divided 2 and supplied through a waveform synthesizing circuit 3 to the 1st charging voltage detecting circuit 4 and the 2nd charging voltage detecting circuit 5 which detects voltages across large-capacity capacitors. The outputs of the circuits 4 and 5 are supplied to the charging/discharging control circuit 6 and motor control circuit 7; and the circuit 6 inputs the outputs of the circuits 4 and 5 and the output of the circuit 3 to control the switch of the circuit 6 and the circuit 7 inputs the outputs of the circuits 4 and 5, the output of the circuit 3, and the output of a rotation detecting circuit 8 and outputs a signal required for motor driving to a motor driving circuit 9, whose output is supplied to a motor 10. The circuit 8 detects whether or not the motor 10 rotates and outputs correcting driving pulses if the motor 10 does not rotate.
