PURPOSE:To make a coolant in an air-liquid mixed state treatable positively in a simple structure requiring any recovery pump, by installing a closed tank, a flow passage controller and a selector, in a coolant purifier for a machine tool. CONSTITUTION:When a pump 20 gets operating, a solenoid L1 of pilot valve 36 is turned on, a discharging pinch valve 12 is closed, whereby a solenoid L2 of a feed valve 25 is turned on, and high pressure air is fed to an air supply port 25 of a flow passage controller 22 from an air source 23. At this time, a selector valve 6 is open, and with vacuum action of an air suction-exhaust port 31, air in a closed tank 6 is inhaled out of an air gate 33 whereby pressure drops to some extent, and the used coolant is sucked in a tank 6 from a suction port 7, thus a gaseous portion is inhaled out of the gate 33. When a liquid quantity inside the tank 6 is increased and a first float switch 9 detects the upper limit, the selector valve 26 is increased and a first float switch 9 detects the upper limit, the selector valve 26 is closed, and high pressure air is fed to the inside of the tank 6, making this tank come to high pressure, and the coolant enters a coolant tank 16 from a discharge port 11, thus it is treated for purification.
