<p>PURPOSE:To quickly transfer to the next operation after the end of recording/ reproduction by providing a means detecting a muting part exceeding a prescribed time, after the prescribed time after the start of reproduction. CONSTITUTION:The muting part of a magnetic tape 1 is detected by the muting part detection means 3 via a magnetic head 2, the detected signal is compared with a setting time 5 set longer than the time of the muting part between music operation by a muting time comparison means 4 in advance, and when the signal is longer than the time 5, a signal 6 is outputted. The signal 6 is inputted to a tape running switching means 7, where the next operation such as fast forwarding is processed. One of the means 3, 4, 7 is not activated within the prescribed time after the start of reproduction by the output of a timer 10 and the muting part after the start of tape is distinguished from the muting part after the end of recording.</p> |
